Greg Zackney
Greg Zackney is the President of S3 and 838 Inc. and has over 25 years of professional dynamic decision making and international leadership skills combined with senior management experience in both austere and conventional settings. He was most recently responsible for helping to build an entire flight operations and training organization from inception to daily operations for ICON Aircraft. That flight operations contract included helping to build the entire aviation maintenance organization for the start-up airplane company. 838 Inc. has also held service contracts for the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement and U.S. Army Reserve. After 13 years on Active Duty for the Marine Corps, he became the Senior Director of Operations for an aviation software solutions group, where he learned the software business and was responsible for the development of all engagements, marketing, sales, and support teams using client capture strategies, strategic business intelligence/requirements. Greg concurrently worked as a Safety and Efficiency Subject Matter Expert in the Gulf of Mexico and on the North Slope of Alaska using his experience operating in high risk (dangerous) environments to conduct timely accurate assessments of companies who operate in extremely dangerous environments to ensure highly reliable results which are proven to drastically improve operational efficiency and safety. He is an industry expert in complex organizational execution, continuous improvement and integrated safety management systems and uses his experience to increase operational effectiveness by mentoring and instructing organizations in leadership, communications, team development and risk management. He spent thirteen years as an AV-8B Harrier Pilot for the United States Marine Corps and retired from the Marine Corps with over 22 years combined time Active Duty/Reserve. Greg has a Bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis, and a Masters Degree in Global Leadership and Project Management from the University of San Diego School of Business. His other certificates include: Airline Transport Pilot, California Firefighter, Hazmat First Responder, Incident Command Systems, and Emergency Medical Technician – Basic. He is married to Hannah, who is a Marriage and Family Therapist, and they have 3 boys (ages 11, 12, and 13).
Joe Humphrey
Joe Humphrey is the Chief Operating Officer at S3. He is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and general management of the company and efficiency of the company. In his previous role at Stay Safe Solutions, Joe has helped growth revenue to over $15 million annually during a 13+ year history of systematic growth. Over the last decade Joe has helped guide Stay Safe Solutions by providing fiscal, strategic and operational leadership to reduce expenses and improve operating results. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and has over 25 years of experience in the Semiconductor, Confidential Destruction, and facility support. he has lead the continuous improvement of Stay Safe Solutions lines of businesses including products, services and specialty construction with a focus on government, commercial, primary care and public health facilities. He's also on the Board of the Secure Document Alliance, and the current President, a nonprofit providing digital imaging and confidential destruction service throughout the US. He is married to Tina for 25 years and has has three children (ages 12, 19, and 22).
